Soft lenses
Soft contact lenses are flexible and available as daily disposable or reusable lenses, such as monthly lenses. You can wear them daily or occasionally, depending on the advice given during fitting.
A soft lens is thin and flexible. It rests on the tear film over the cornea and also covers a small part of the white of the eye. The fit and material help determine how comfortable the lens feels.
Thin, flexible and almost invisible.
The lens follows the eye's surface. During a blink, it can move slightly and centre itself again.

How do we choose a soft contact lens?
Your eye shape, tear film and daily activities also matter. A suitable lens should provide clear vision and fit your eye well.

What is the difference between daily and monthly lenses?
A fresh pair every day you wear them.
You use each lens once and throw it away after removal. There is no need to clean or store it. This can be convenient whether you wear lenses every day or only occasionally.
Clean after each day of wear.
For example, monthly lenses: after removal, clean and disinfect them with the recommended solution. Replace them according to the agreed schedule, even if you do not wear them every day.
Always follow the advice on wearing time, care and replacement. Monthly lenses does not mean wearing them continuously day and night for a month.
Also for astigmatism or reading difficulties.
Soft refers to the material. Soft lenses also come in designs for astigmatism and for seeing at different distances.
