The lens fitting
From your first appointment to check-ups.
We explain what we measure and discuss the results with you. This is followed by trying lenses, instructions for use and check-ups.
Initial appointment without obligation
We discuss your symptoms, previous experience and when you want to wear contact lenses.
Examination and measurements
We carefully examine your eyes, looking at factors such as your prescription, lens fit, tear film and wearing options. We also measure eye pressure at every initial eye examination.
Clear advice
We discuss the examination results and explain which lenses we recommend.
Trying lenses with guidance
If contact lenses appear suitable, we guide you through insertion, removal, wear and care.
Check-ups and aftercare
We check the fit, your vision and the health of your eyes. If needed, we repeat the eye pressure measurement and recommend further examination.
A suitable solution
When glasses suit you better
During the examination, we assess whether contact lenses are suitable for your eyes and preferences. If glasses turn out to be a better choice, we discuss this honestly with you.
For suitable glasses, we work with 3 Optiek, our partner for glasses in Almere. This means we can also help when contact lenses are not the right solution.
Meet our partner for glassesExplanation and discussion
You know why we recommend a lens.
We explain the differences between lenses and discuss what to expect when wearing them. You can ask questions and share your preferences. If lenses are not suitable for your eyes, we discuss an alternative.
